Catching up with Hobbyboden

So in my unplanned hiatus, I had two videos going live at Hobbyboden. One is using the Silhouette to make one layer cards. This was inspired by two of the design teams gorgeous cards.

The second was about my daughter, being dressed up as a cat. Again! Uisng a four square design, which I absolutely love. I think it’s so easy to work with, and adds plenty off opportunity to embellish like crazy Smiley

Please remember these posts and videos are in danish.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Variations Week and catching up with Sweet Pea Stamps

This week is Variations week at Sweet Pea Stamps, which means teh design team have been given the same image to work with. I absolutely love this idea. It’s so much fun to see how different we’ve colored the same image, and the various gorgeous projects that have been made. It’s very inspirational.

Here’s a sneak on mine:

Since my poor blog has been so neglected, there’s quite a few posts I haven’t posted sneaks of. So here you go. The first one is a card using Enys Guerreros gorgeous Minerva.

Next is this way to cute image by Karen Middleton. I just love ducklings, and it was perfect in time for easter. Although this card could be used as a springtime card to.

There’s a video up in this post, using my all-time favorite artist Ching Chou Kuik and her gorgeous Restless Thoughts image. It has a more autumny feel, but it’s always good to be prepared.

And last, here’s my card for One Sweet Challenge blog, which this time was Ringing in Spring. I used Norma J Burnell’s Poppies and Flutter, colored with Copics off course Smiley.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and helping me catch up.

Inky Chicks and I need to play catch up

First, best and most important news: I’m on the Inky Chicks Design Team. Inky Chicks is an awesome challenge blog. And I am truly honored to be asked to be part of it. A new challenge went live today, and here’s my contribution to it:

I colored one of my favorite Magnolia images with the following Copics:
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E13
Blue: B91, B93, B95
Hair: E21, E35, E57, E47
Pink: RV000, RV00, R81, R83
Brown: E40, E41, E42, E43

I decided to make an easel card. Not really a tough decision Smiley, der blinker But I thought that with the Shabby Chic challenge, an Easel card would be a good choice. Adds the chance to spice up the inside a bit as well.

It’s Easter holidays here in the house, so I have the family home with me. It’s awesome, but also severely limits my crafty time. That said, my blog has been sadly neglected these past weeks (lots of personal stuff going on, that have finally been resolved). So the next couple of days, I intend to play catch up, and share some DT work.

Have an absolutely awesome tuesday.

Girl Dream

My first Sweet Pea Stamps post is up. I colored Karen Middleton’s way to cute Unicorn Dream stamp, and I really love how the card turned out. It’s now happily living on a shelf in a little girls room.

You can see the entire post here at the Sweet Pea Stamps DT blog.

New phone cover

I’ve been down with the flu real bad, so haven’t had to much time for anything. Did do this phone cover though . Steampunk style. I’m guessing the chain will get stuck in everything, but I really really like it there.

I’ve already ordered two more covers, cause this is really addictive, and I want to make more in different styles.

Thanks for watching and have an awesome day.

Get more out of your clear stamps

This time at The Paper Crafting, I’m showing how I get more out of my clear stamps, by actually cutting them apart. You can find the article and video here. As always, the text and video is in danish.

Hope you all have a great sunday.

I made it…

…to the Sweet Pea Stamps design team. And I am so thrilled and happy. I bought my first Sweet Pea stamps back in 2010…in fact, hang on…let me just find one of the first Sweet Pea images i colored…

A lot has happened since then, including coloring skills. But my love for the beautiful images Sweet Pea Stamps offers has never changed.

And now I have the perfect excuse to always sit an color, drinking tea and listening to music.

Another Aurora Wings card

But how can I not, with such gorgeous images. This one is Rite of Spring, and I won her, in one of Mitzis fun contests at her Facebook Group. If you’re not there, you really should be. Lots of fun, lots of sweet people and lots of gorgeous images. And freebies! Go go go…

I had issues with sticky ink, so I had to redo a lot of the face with my Prismacolor pencils. Luckily they useally do the trick.

I used the following colors:

Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E11, E13, peach, beige, light peach
Blush: R20, R21, R22
Purple: V000, V20, V22, V25, V28, V99
Pink: RV00, R81, R83, R85
Green: G40, G43, G82
Background: W0, W1

Papers are from My Mind’s Eye, I think it’s the Bramble Rose collection, but can’t remember. Could be Sweetest Thing. I used a Spellbinders die to cut it into shape. Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and some lace ribbon I had lying around. It really all came together rather quickly

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog. Have a great day.

Copic Storage…again

I’m carzy busy this week, so no scrapbooking video. But I did manage to get my new Copic Storage solution ‘on tape’. I really like how this is working for me, and it means I get a lot more coloring done.

That, and I just get so inspired by seeing all those yummy colors every morning when I sit down to work. Love it.

In the ‘old’ storage solution video, I go through my Copic books in more detail. If you’d like to watch, it’s right here:

Thanks for watching and have a great week.
