Inky Chicks CAS

This was actually a really tough challenge for me this time, cause I don’t do many Clean & Simple cards. And I guess the really hardcore CAS people would argue, mine really isn’t. But it’s as close as I can get it Smiley, der blinker

I’ve used a Tidly Inks image, that I so love. All those cute little dragons. I colored it in quite a while ago, and have lost the Copic recipe sheet, so please forgive me for not being able to provide you with that information.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, and don’t forget to join in the fun at Inky Chicks.

One Sweet Challenge–Flowers

This time at One Sweet Challenge, it’s all about flowers. I’ve used this super cute stamp from Elisabeth Bell, that I absolutely love.

As always I’ve colored with Copics
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21
Greens: YG61, YG63, YG67
Browns: E43, E44, E47
Reds: R81, R83, R89
Wings: BG0000, BG000, BG02

It’s my go to easel card fold. The sweet stamp is Lazy Daisy by Elisabeth Bell, available as a rubber stamp in the Sweet Pea Stamp store.

I added stickles to the wings, to add a little sparkle. It’s hard to capture on camera, but I hope the below picture shows it off a little better.

Sweet Pea DT card sneak

My DT card is up at Sweet Pea stamps, so here’s a nseak peek at it. It’s accompanied by a video, showing how I made this card, which is a different fold than I’m used to. But so much fun to make.

Inky Chicks From The Heart

A new challenge is up at Inky Chicks. This time from the heart. Which made me realise I really need more sentiment stamps, for my cards. Cause I didn’t really have any that suited that theme, and it’s a theme I could really repeat.

Here’s my DT card. Since I didn’t have any sentiments that matched, I used hearts on the card instead.

I tried a new coloring technique for the pleats. I kinda like it, but need to practice it a lot more. As always I used Copics to color
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E13, R20, R21
Hair: YR20, YR24, YR27, E39, E59
Dress: RV91, RV93, RV95, R81, R83, R85
Shoes: W1, W3, W5
Candles/Cloth: E40, E41, E42, E43, Y11, Y13, Y17
Cake: YR0000, YR000, YR00, YR01, RV00, RV02, RV04, RV10

No suprise there, but it’s yet another easel card. I’m just so comfortable making them, and really love how they turn out.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today, and remember to come join the fun at Inky Chickcs.

Catching up with Hobbyboden

So in my unplanned hiatus, I had two videos going live at Hobbyboden. One is using the Silhouette to make one layer cards. This was inspired by two of the design teams gorgeous cards.

The second was about my daughter, being dressed up as a cat. Again! Uisng a four square design, which I absolutely love. I think it’s so easy to work with, and adds plenty off opportunity to embellish like crazy Smiley

Please remember these posts and videos are in danish.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Variations Week and catching up with Sweet Pea Stamps

This week is Variations week at Sweet Pea Stamps, which means teh design team have been given the same image to work with. I absolutely love this idea. It’s so much fun to see how different we’ve colored the same image, and the various gorgeous projects that have been made. It’s very inspirational.

Here’s a sneak on mine:

Since my poor blog has been so neglected, there’s quite a few posts I haven’t posted sneaks of. So here you go. The first one is a card using Enys Guerreros gorgeous Minerva.

Next is this way to cute image by Karen Middleton. I just love ducklings, and it was perfect in time for easter. Although this card could be used as a springtime card to.

There’s a video up in this post, using my all-time favorite artist Ching Chou Kuik and her gorgeous Restless Thoughts image. It has a more autumny feel, but it’s always good to be prepared.

And last, here’s my card for One Sweet Challenge blog, which this time was Ringing in Spring. I used Norma J Burnell’s Poppies and Flutter, colored with Copics off course Smiley.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and helping me catch up.

Inky Chicks and I need to play catch up

First, best and most important news: I’m on the Inky Chicks Design Team. Inky Chicks is an awesome challenge blog. And I am truly honored to be asked to be part of it. A new challenge went live today, and here’s my contribution to it:

I colored one of my favorite Magnolia images with the following Copics:
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E13
Blue: B91, B93, B95
Hair: E21, E35, E57, E47
Pink: RV000, RV00, R81, R83
Brown: E40, E41, E42, E43

I decided to make an easel card. Not really a tough decision Smiley, der blinker But I thought that with the Shabby Chic challenge, an Easel card would be a good choice. Adds the chance to spice up the inside a bit as well.

It’s Easter holidays here in the house, so I have the family home with me. It’s awesome, but also severely limits my crafty time. That said, my blog has been sadly neglected these past weeks (lots of personal stuff going on, that have finally been resolved). So the next couple of days, I intend to play catch up, and share some DT work.

Have an absolutely awesome tuesday.
